Restoring Habitats
Introducing the Nature Recovery Project Biodiversity Gain (BNG) Impact Report 2023-24
This document showcases the progress, outcomes, and ecological milestones achieved through the implementation of Biodiversity Net Gain across our sites over the past year.
It highlights how our work has contributed to:
Restoring and enriching natural habitats, ensuring measurable improvements in biodiversity through science-based habitat enhancement and long-term stewardship.
Rebuilding ecological resilience, from thriving soil microbiomes and increased pollinator species to the return of nationally significant wildlife such as glow-worms and great crested newts.
Securing nature's recovery for the future, through measurable gains in species richness, habitat quality, and climate resilience above and below ground.
Together, these achievements reflect the power of Biodiversity Gain to drive positive, lasting change for wildlife, ecosystems, and the landscapes we all depend on.

A strategic relationship has been established between the Nature Recovery Project (TNRP) and WRAP to address one of our day's most urgent environmental issues: the contamination and depletion of water resources.

Our partnership with The Forest of Marston Vale allows us to benefit from both the expertise of an established community forest and a beacon for change in the Bedfordshire community

As part of our growing commitment to regenerate threatened landscapes, we’re excited to announce a landmark partnership with the National Trust. This new collaboration will focus on one of the UK’s most unappreciated but critically important ecosystems, lowland peatlands.
